We have been making and selling our work here at Southbank for fourteen years and have built a reputation for producing high quality woodwork. We welcome visitors to come and see us, to browse, chat about our work and perhaps purchase a unique item.  See our opening times below.

Here at Southbank Studio, on the southern slopes of the Isle of Arran, overlooking the sea, Ruth Mae and David Samuels have their workshop and showroom. Ruth works with local woods to produce beautiful and delicate bowls. David makes bespoke furniture and other items in wood.

We have unexpectedly had to close our workshops and showroom,
due to the sale of  our rented premises.
Hopefully we will be setting up a smaller venture in the near future,
where we would hope to see you.
